She was born June 26th, 1956, in Rochester, NY., and was the eldest daughter of Allen and Virginia (Gmeinweiser) Lyle of Webster, NY. Lynette was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence John Lyle of Webster, NY., and her parents, who retired and lived in Mount Dora, FL. She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Donald Richard Howard, and beloved daughters Erika Ann and her fiancé, Herold Seide (Mount Dora, FL) and Tanya Kate (Boston, MA), her brother Allen, and Darcy Lyle (Hoosick Falls, NY), sister Lauren and Gary Schraeder (Webster, NY), and sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Kirk Tremblay (Constable, NY). Lynette graduated from R.L. Thomas High School in Webster in June of 1974, and attended college at State University of New York Potsdam that fall and was a competitive swimmer at both institutions. In the fall of 1976, she transferred to Clarkson College of Technology, Potsdam, NY and proudly graduated in May of 1978 with an Industrial Management degree. Following college Lynn and Don moved to New Jersey to get married, build their careers, make great friends, and buy a new home in Frenchtown where they raised Erika and Tanya.

Lynette worked for Airco Industrial Gases, J and J Ethicon Inc. (V.P of Manufacturing award winner), and Gyneco Incorporated. In 1988, Lynn started her own consulting firm, Lyle Howard Corporation, which she owned and operated until her passing. During her career at Lyle Howard Corporation, she was very passionate about assisting numerous medical device companies to establish and implement manufacturing processes and policies to be compliant with domestic and international requirements to sell their products. This allowed Lynn to travel extensively to various locations throughout the US and internationally throughout Europe, the Philippines, China, and Japan. Her expertise in the field of medical device regulatory requirements resulted in her authoring 'ISO 13485 (EN 46000) Requirements, 99 Requirements Checklist and Compliance Guide' in 1998, which benefited many companies.

Lynette had many loves and passions that included antiques, swimming, boating on the St. Lawrence River in N.Y. State, spending time in Key West, sailing the Caribbean, cruising the rivers of Europe, renovating the family cottage in the 1000 Islands, NY, hosting parties, fine wine, dining, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
