Lynn (Jeffrey) Thomason, age 73 of Zellwood, Florida passed away on September 29, 2020.   He was born October 26, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland to Melvin E. (deceased) and Jean P. Thomason. Lynn served in the United States Army for twenty-six years and his military service included two tours of Vietnam and Desert Storm.  He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Army.   After retiring from the military he was a real estate agent in Clarksville, Tennessee where he also taught history and political science at the local community college.  After relocating to Zellwood in August of 2011, he continued to teach at Lake-Sumter College until retirement.   Lynn is survived by his loving wife, Judy K. Thomason.  They met in Clarksville, TN where they both attended Austin Peay State University.  Lynn and Judy were married on August 24, 1974 at the Immaculate Catholic Church in Clarksville, Tn.

Lynn is survived by a sister, Candace Thomason and brother, Leigh (Teresa) Thomason. As well as his wife, Judy Kay Thomason and three children, a daughter, Ansley (Gerald) Johnson, Jeffrey (Annie) Thomason, and Ryan Thomason.  He was loved dearly by each of his six grandchildren: Brandy, Katherine, Aiden, Jake, Beck, and Archie. Lynn very much enjoyed traveling and exploring new and interesting places together with his family. Lynn always enjoyed studying and learning about history (both foreign and local) and traveled whenever the opportunity arose.  He shared this interest with Ryan and together they visited many state parks, history museums, and local battlefields and forts.

Lynn lived and played many roles over the years, but always valued family. He would always say, "There is always room for one more at the table."  He will be greatly missed by all those left that loved him, but never forgotten, because there will never be another like him.  He was so full of life that his spirit will never leave us.
