Mabel Lenora Borell's Obituary
Mabel Lenora Borell, 86, of Mount Dora, FL passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2013.
She was born on March 14, 1927 in Flintstone, Maryland to the late Grafton and Ella Imes.
Mabel worked as an LPN during WWII and in 1946, following the war, she married William Borell.
She went on to work as a Realtor and was owner of Orange Capitol Realty. Mabel was voted Lake County Realtor of the Year in 1973 and again in 1974.
She also owned B&M Furniture in Eustis.
Mabel was extremely active and loved working with horses. She also had her pilot?s license and was heavily involved with the VFW and M.O.C.A. Mabel was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis.
She is survived by her son, W. Jay Borell (Marie); daughter, Deborah Dudeney; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora, FL.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the VFW (Golden Triangle 8087).
