Mainell Davis, 87, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015.

Mainell was born on May 1, 1928 in Silver Point, TN to the late Lucian L. Carter and Mary Alice (Exum) Carter.

Mainell is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L. Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Davis) Barks and her husband, Eddie; son, Andrew Davis and his wife, Bonnie; 4 grandchildren, Leslie (Davis) Montoya, Andrea (Davis) Newman, Samantha (Barks) Walton, and Christopher Barks; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10 - 11 A.M. on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora, FL.

A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 A.M. on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora, FL with Pastor Bob Ware officiating.

Interment will be at Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora, FL.
