Maria Cottone ( née Trapani ) , 77, passed away on January 16, 2019.

Survived by her loving husband Charles of 52 plus years, her sons Mario and Paul, their respective wives Vita and Angela and her beloved grandchildren Joseph and Gianna.

Formerly of Caltabellotta, Italy, she immigrated to Dunmore, Pennsylvania in 1960 with her father Paolo, her mother Josephine, her brother Cosimo and her sister Josephine.  She met and married Charles Cottone and moved to Astoria, New York where they started their family with the birth of their two sons Mario and Paul. They moved to Deerfield Beach, Florida in 1980 and then to Eustis, Florida in 2017 to be closer to their sons, daughters in law and grandchildren.

She was a dotting "Nonna" to her grandchildren and always happiest amongst family and friends. She always took care of everyone above herself. She was a second mother to most, sister to her friends and a friend to all. She had a heart as big as the world and would open her door to all.

Our angel on Earth and now our guardian angel in Heaven. You will be forever in our hearts. We will always love you and never forget you. May angels lead you in.
