Obituary

Marilyn Miller White, known lovingly as "Gram" to her grandchildren, lived a life defined by warmth, kindness, and an open door for everyone who knew her. She had a rare gift for making people feel seen and loved, and she gave that gift freely to all who came into her life.

A Florida girl through and through, Marilyn was born in Eustis, FL, and spent her entire life rooted in the Sunshine State. She raised her children and grandchildren in Mount Dora. Marilyn found joy in the quiet, beautiful things -- the birds visiting her yard, the garden she tended with care and devotion throughout the years. Nothing brought her more happiness than her family. She was their biggest champion, their soft place to land, and a constant source of encouragement through every season of life.

She is predeceased by her husband, George “Buddy” White. Survived by her sons, Bob White and Jay White, and daughters-in-law, Amy Doyle-White, Anita Renahan White, and her granddaughters Anna White and Amelia White. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations be made in Marilyn's memory to the Advent Health Waterman Foundation or Lake Cares Food Pantry.

Gram, you will be deeply missed and forever loved.
