Obituary
Mark David Rohrer 59, of Mt Dora, FL passed away Thursday, Sept 1, 2016 at Hospice House in Tavares. Mark was born in Wabasha MN on March 12, 1957 to John and Elaine (Jahnke) Rohrer. He graduated from Cochrane Fountain City High School in 1975.
On June 26, 1993 Mark married Katrina (Pinkston) in Mt Dora FL.
Music was very important to Mark. He was an avid musician. He started playing the drums in local bands at a very young age while growing up in Wisconsin. A carpenter by trade, he loved to work on boats and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Mark could do just about anything imaginable. He thoroughly enjoyed spending times with family and friends and was always there to lend a helping hand.
Mark is survived by his wife, Katrina and her daughters Jessica and Randi, and his step-grandchildren, Justin and Jordan, his mother, brother Lonnie(Julene)Rohrer, sisters Mary (Jeff) Sluzewski and Melanie Jackmovich, niece, Emily Lenz, nephews Ben and Mitch Sluzewski and Nick Jackmovich. Mark was preceeded in death by his father and brother Randy.
Please join us in a casual celebration of Mark's life on September 17,2016 at his home 410 Bay Rd, Mt Dora , FL 32757 between 15pm. If you would like, please bring a covered dish or dessert.
Memorials may be made to his wife Katrina, Cornerstone Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
