Obituary

Martha Elaine Crow, age 83, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016, after struggling with Alzheimer's for the past 9 years. Born on February 8, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama where she grew up and a fell in love with college football, especially the Auburn Tigers. In 1957, Elaine relocated with her then husband and children to Central Florida. Although she did work for some years, her main focus and passion for life was being a loving wife and mother of her three children. She enjoyed music, reading, shopping and traveling especially trips that included the beach. Elaine had exquisite taste and zeal for life. She passed down to her children her loving ways and encouraged them to always live happy.

Elaine is survived by her daughter Lisa Cox and her husband Mike, sons Wayne and Wade Hartsfield, granddaughter Lauren Hunt and her husband Bill, husband Bob Crow and step children David Crow and his wife Sharon and Cathy Sparks.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m. at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home, 1800 N. Donnelly St., Mt. Dora.

The family requests that you honor her with a donation to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation and/or Alzheimer's Research, in lieu of flowers.
