Mary Dawn Adams Harden, 84, of Mobile, Alabama, formerly of Mount Dora, Florida died on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Dawn was born in Center, Texas on July 9, 1942, and was a retired elementary school teacher.

Dawn was predeceased by her father, Marvin C. Robinson, and mother, Fannie Beatrice Edwards. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Joe H. Adams, Jr., and her second husband, Clifford A. Harden; her brother, Julian Robinson; and her precious three triplets, David, Daniel, and Mary, who were born prematurely to Dawn and Joe and passed away shortly after birth.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Robinson of Pearland, Texas; her son, Joe H. Adams III (Kristy) of Mobile, Alabama; two daughters, Lori Reed (Joel) of Vienna, Virginia, and Julie Kinser (Andy) of Charlotte, North Carolina; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren from her marriage to Joe, as well as six step-grandchildren and fourteen step-great-grandchildren from her marriage to Cliff, whom she cared for as her own.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 9:00–11:00 AM at the Mount Dora Church of Christ, 1801 North Donnelly Street, Mount Dora, Florida. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the church.

Services will conclude at the church. A private family burial will follow at Pine Forest Cemetery, Mount Dora, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mount Dora Christian Academy, 301 W 13th Avenue, Mount Dora, Florida 32757, where Dawn was a beloved second-grade teacher for many years.
