Mary Anna O'Brien passed away peacefully on August 21st in her Jacksonville home.

Born in Umatilla, FL, and having resided in the areas of Boston, New York City, Washington, DC, Mount Dora, St. Augustine and Jacksonville, Mary Anna will be remembered as a beautiful wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a true friend to anyone in good times or bad.

During her 40 years in Jacksonville, she enjoyed fundraising for the needy, tennis and her garden, but she especially cared for her family.

Mary joins her husband Jack and children Colleen and John Michael, and she leaves behind for another day her remaining children Kitty (Switkes) and Kelly, daughter-in-law Nora, her ?super? grandchildren and many, many admiring friends.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9800 Baymeadows Road, in Jacksonville, FL on Monday, August 26th.

Interment will take place at Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora at 4 p.m.
