Mary Louise "Mary Lou" Wrobel, 80, of Mt. Dora, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 19. She was born to the late Lewis B. McCullough, M.D. and Helen S. Janssen in Omaha, NE. She moved to Florida in 1968 from Ohio. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Mt. Dora serving in the choir for many years, and also a member of the Hannah Circle and church Book Club.
She leaves behind her husband of 24 years, Ronald J. Wrobel; 4 children - son, Richard (Robin) Harper, Jr. of Sanford, daughters, Jodie (James) Covington of Lady Lake, Kathy (David) Andrews of Eustis and Christine Harper of Tavares; stepdaughters, Wendy Reiford, Debbie (Brian) Skultety, Cindy (Dennis) Jacobowski and Linda Harper; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 neices and 1 nephew.
Mary Lou was a devoted, godly woman who lived by example. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly and dearly missed by all who loved her.
Visitation is 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27 at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mt. Dora. Memorial service is 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28 at First United Methodist Church of Mt. Dora, officiated by Pastor Kim Uchimura. Interment will be private.
