Cassia, FL.  Maston R. Godwin 82, husband of Sherry M. Godwin passed away Sept.4, 2021 at home.  He was the son of the late Collis F. & Mary G. Godwin born in Sanford, FL. on June 17, 1939.  Mack honorably served his country as a member of the National Guard for 10 years and retired from Florida Power.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Curtis Godwin(Chrissy), Cassia, Fl., Stacey G. Thompson(Jason B.), Atlanta, GA., Jill Leverett(Lonnie), Cassia, Fl.  Sisters Beverly G. SC, Diane G. Live Oak, FL. & Donna G., Tallahassee, FL., 8 Grandchildren, 12 Great grandchildren.

Mack, like Papa Collis, was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and a real hero to his grands as well as his nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Mack's life and homegoing will be held on Oct.16 from 2PM on followed by a meal at the Cassia Community Club located on Hwy. 44 in Cassia…In lieu of flowers its requested contributions be made to the NRA or Vitas Hospice of Mount Dora .
