Michael S DeWitt, 83 of Leesburg, Fl died Thursday May 3, 2018 at his home.  He was born in Springport, IN to the late Ruth and Dennis DeWitt.

Mike was a loving husband, father, papa, grandfather, brother and friend.  He was also a US Army Veteran

He and his wife Lynn enjoyed being with family, traveling and taking long drives to try out new restaurants,  places to shop, and going to the theater at Bay Street.  He always said, "Never ask us where we are going, just ask us where we have been".

Mike is survived by his wife Lynn of Leesburg, and; Daughters Denise (John) Foster; Cyndi Hill (Ed) of New Castle, IN.  sons Dan (Wendy) DeWitt of Chico. CA; Stephen DeWitt, Noblesville, IN; Lew DeWitt (Marti), Tavares, FL   Sister Barbara Tressy Springville, NY and brothers Bruce DeWitt, Tavares, FL and Jack (Sharon) DeWitt, Ft. Wayne, IN.  Grandchildren, Grandchildren, Nathan, Amanda, Ariah, Diana, Mieke, Jenny, Katie, Kyle, Samuel, Jacob, Matthew, and Jackson.   Great grandchildren Serena, Tommy, Lucas, Annabelle, Eli, and Michael.

Friday May 11, 2018 there will be visitation from 4:00 p.m. 6:30 p.m. and the service at 6:30 p.m.
