In Loving Memory of Pamela Ann Gentry Wood
Sunrise: October 10, 1959
Sunset: September 16, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pamela Ann Gentry Wood, a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Pam peacefully rode into Heaven's pastures on September 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unshakable grace.

Born on October 10, 1959, Pamela lived a life full of purpose and passion. She was the heart of her family and the soul of every gathering— known for her unconditional love, unwavering faith, and the quiet wisdom that only a life well-lived can bring.

Pam is survived by her devoted husband, Timothy R. Wood, who stood by her side in love and partnership. She was a proud and loving mother to Kristen (Noah) Holder and Garrett (Brittany) Wood, nurturing them with a steadfast heart and gentle guidance.

Her love and legacy continue through her cherished grandchildren: Cole (Morgan), Kendall (JP), Cale (Jody), Clayton, Payton, Garrett, and Gracee. Pamela's joy only deepened with the arrival of her great-grandchildren: Kynslee, Hoytt, and Luka, each a precious piece of her enduring spirit.

Pam is also survived by her beloved mother, Melba Doris Gentry, and her sister, Rhonda (Ricky) Jones, who shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and sisterhood.

Pam was preceded in death by her father, Cara Gentry, whom she now joins in eternal peace.

Pam was a beacon of love, a shoulder to lean on, and a guiding light in the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the laughter of her grandchildren, the stories told around the dinner table, and the quiet strength passed down through generations.

Though her earthly journey has come to an end, her spirit gallops free — wild and eternal — in the wide open skies she so dearly loved.

Ride in Heaven, Cowgirl; you've earned your rest. 🤍

The Wood Family warmly invites all to join them in honoring Pam's life at Astatula Cemetery on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 3:30 PM for graveside services.
