Patricia Gavasso, 74, of Eustis, FL died January 22, 2017. Patty, born Patricia Ann Viggianelli was born to Albert and Eda Viggianelli on March 14, 1942 in Dearborn, MI. Patty fought hard in her battle against cancer. Patty's optimism and strength were an inspiration to all who surrounded her. She was preceded in her death by her parents Albert and Eda Viggianelli, brother-in-law Tom Neville, and sister Donna Viggianelli. She is survived by her husband Richard, daughter Ann Marie Foos, son-in-law Eric Foos, grandchildren Tianna, Michelle, Brandon, Alexandria, and Isabella Foos, sister Loretta Neville, nieces Angie Lewis and Julie Neville, Aunt Mary Livingston, Aunt Dolores Golles, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Patricia was a middle school teacher in Holland, Michigan until her retirement in 1995. She loved her pets, also known as her "furry children". She enjoyed sewing, dancing, boating, travelling and having fun with her beloved husband. Patty was known to combine her hobbies by making costumes for Halloween dances or entering pet/owner costume contests all while laughing and enjoying time with Richard. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home, in Mount Dora, FL on Thursday, January 26 from 5-7pm. Services will be held at St. Patricks Catholic church, Mount Dora, FL at 9 am on Friday, January 27, 2017.
