Peggy Susan Conklin, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at the age of 70 at her home in Mount Dora, Florida, on July 20, 2024. Born in El Paso, Texas, on September 9, 1953, Peggy was a beacon of love, faith, and service throughout her life.

Peggy's unwavering commitment to her family was evident in every facet of her life. She is survived by her loving husband, John Conklin; her sister, Diana (John) Bushey; her children, Keri (Andrew) Barras, Brian (Lesa) Culpepper, and Eric Conklin and her four cherished grandchildren, Nora, James, Nicholas, and Marie. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she delighted in their achievements and adventures.

Peggy's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She loved the Lord and shared her faith with her family. She was a servant leader whether she served professionally with the YMCA or volunteered at her church or at her local quilt guild. Her leadership and dedication made a lasting impact on all those she came in contact with.

Peggy was a woman of grace and strength, whose life was a testament to her values and her love for others. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Peggy's life will be held on August 6, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Real Life Christian Church in Mount Dora, Florida.

May we honor Peggy's memory by embracing life with the same grace, love, and compassion that she so beautifully exemplified. Peggy was loved beyond measure and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
