On January 19, 2018, Our beloved and adored Dad and Grampa went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Phil was married to the late Patricia Eileen Mahoney Klefeker. Phil is survived by his 4 children, Patrick Thomas Klefeker and his wife Carla, Julie Lynn Dey, Michael Scott Klefeker and his wife Jana, Kristi Eileen Klefeker Higgins and her husband Buster. Phil has 15 grandchildren, Josh Klefeker and his wife Christina, Jenna Hamel and her husband Bryan, Zack Klefeker and his wife Emily, Matt Klefeker and his wife Samantha, Jamie Dey, Jordan Klefeker and his wife Alden, Sean Dey, Lindsey Novak and her husband Cole, Jansen Klefeker and his wife Olivia, The late Kevin Louis Higgins, Jeremy Klefeker, Ashley Pucino and her husband Michael, Morgan Klefeker, Chad Higgins, Amber Higgins. Phil has 10 great grandchildren, Khloe Klefeker, Lucca Hamel, Nolan Novak, Levi Klefeker, Emma Klefeker, Amos Klefeker, Brent Klefeker, Brax Klefeker, Chase Klefeker and Riley Klefeker. Phil was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Dora. Phil was a veteran of The U S Army and Merchant Marines. He was a Police Sargeant for the Miami Beach Police Department.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 5th, 2018 at 9:00am and the Funeral Service is at 10:00am at First Baptist Church of Mt. Dora. The interment will follow at the Bushnell National Cemetery.
