Jane Henderson passed away on February 25th at the age of 77.

Jane is survived by her daughters Monica Jenkins, Melanie Rollins, and Melissa Quinones(Onnie);five grandsons, Zachary, Ryan, Tyler, Jacob, and Lucas.  She married William Henderson on July 20, 1968 and they continued to love one another until the time of her death; two nieces, one nephew, and many cousins.

Jane is preceded in death by her father John Bulger, mother Eunice Learned, sisters Lucy Russ, Patricia Cooper, and brother Buddy Silcox.

Jane was born in Andalusia, Alabama and her family later moved to Mt. Dora, Florida.  She graduated from Mt.Dora High School in 1964 where she made lifelong friends. She was a beautician who spent many years working alongside her beloved mother, and later she opened her own shop called the Hair Crop. She was a devoted wife ,mother, and grandmother.  She loved to spend time working in the yard, planting flowers, watching Alabama football, and most importantly spending time with her grandsons.

Lifetime memories were made at our farm in Alabama and the Fleming family reunion. She instilled in her family the importance of having faith in our Lord, traditions ,kindness, and love.  While we will miss her dearly, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain wrapped in the arms of our Heavenly Father and reunited with loved ones.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 11am at the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Dora, Florida reception following in the Friendship Hall. The family requests those desiring direct memorial to Compassionate Care Hospice of Lake County, FL or First United Methodist Church of Mt.Dora, FL.
