Obituary

Raymond "Ray" Lopez of Eustis, Florida passed away, Saturday, November 4th, 2023. He was the only child of Ramon and Ernestina Lopez and born in New York City, where he met his future wife, Olga, at the age of 13. They remained sweethearts until her passing in 2006. Ray is survived by their 5 children – Craig, Susan, Nancy, Richard and Michael, and their spouses – Nancy, Mark, Carlos, Jackie and Scarlett. He was also the proud Grandfather of 9 grandchildren – Nicholas, Danielle, Christina, Julia, Arielle, Alex, Carlos III, Alejandro and Marielena. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren – Adalyn, Matthew, Jacob, Jax, Nash, Sophie, Lila, Eden, Noah, Carlos IV, Camilla, Lucas, Judah and Aiden. Ray believed in God and was a proud American having served in the Korean War. He loved his family and maintained a sense of humor all his life, even when his health started failing. His proudest achievement was his family.

The family would like to express their thanks to VITAS Hospice and the wonderful staff that helped take care of him on a daily basis. The family is also grateful for the love and support given by Pastor JP of LifePointe Church to Ray and the entire extended family.
