In Loving Memory of Richard Wayne Lehr

1943 – 2025

Richard Wayne Lehr, 81, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family.

Born in 1943, Richard proudly served in the United States Army before dedicating his career to the Long Island Rail Road in New York, where he worked as a Lineman. After retiring, he moved to Florida to join his wife and children to enjoy the sunshine and coastal life he so cherished.

A true lover of baseball, Richard found great joy in umpiring games—a passion that brought him fulfillment and connection with his community. He will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering support, generosity and fierce spirit. Richard was a fighter who overcame many obstacles, continually surprising those around him with his strength and resilience. His presence, love and laughter will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn; his son, Richard Jr.; his daughters, Kimberly (Michael), Jennifer, Michelle (Gino), Jillian (Robert), and Victoria; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry on his legacy with pride and love. We take comfort in knowing he has been reunited with the loved ones who passed before him.

A celebration of Richard's life will be held on July 25, 2025, from 3pm to 7pm at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora. The service will begin promptly at 5:30pm, on what would have been his 38th wedding anniversary with Lynn. Come together with us in love and remembrance as we celebrate his life.

Until we see you again ❤️
