Robert Jacob Sechler, age 93, of Mt. Dora, FL, passed away on May 29, 2017. Bob was predeceased by his wife Millie of 49 years who passed away in 1998.

Bob was born on September 11, 1923 in Rockwood, PA. He later moved to Ohio where he was a master tool & die maker for Ford Motor Company for 30 years. After 7 years of retirement, he joined forces with his son, Kim Sechler, to form Gelander Industries in 1986. Bob went to work every day until he retired in 2014 at the age of 91.

Bob also served in the Navy during World War II and was stationed at Pearl Harbor. Bob lived in his own home until earlier this year where he loved to work on projects and keep busy. He will be greatly missed by family and loved ones.
