Bruce passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 surrounded by his family.

He was born in Sullivan, Indiana to the late Hobart and Jean Durbin. He moved to Shelbyville, Tennessee at a young age where he graduated from high school in 1964. He attended and graduated from MTSU. After college his career took him to Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee. He then relocated to Florida in 1995.

Bruce was an avid golfer, motorcycle and fishing enthusiast and was a big Kentucky (he bled blue) and Cardinal's fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Leslie: his daughters Emily Watson (Tony), Elizabeth Nix, Ashley Durbin and grandchildren Sarah, Caden and Benjamin and his brother, Brent Durbin (Sue). He was preceded by his parents Hobart Durbin and Jean Hoover Durbin and his beloved son, Zachary.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

On Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. we will have a gathering with a service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home at 1800 N. Donnelly Street in Mount Dora, FL.
