Robert Gerald Foust, 79, of Mount Dora,Florida, passed away, Tuesday, February 18th, 2014 at his home.

A celebration of his life service will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, February 21st. at First United Methodist Church in Eustis, Florida, Pastor Beth Farabee will be officiating. Burial will follow at Taylor Memorial Cemeterry in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fl. Friends may come from 5:00-7:00 at the funeral home on Thursday night.

Gerald was born October 28, 1934 in Tarpon Springs Florida to George and Ruth Foust. He graduated from Leesburg High School in 1952. On September 9, 1956 he married the love of his life the former Ruth Christine Anderson in Howey-in-the-Hills. Gerald was in the grocery business for over 41 years, 33 of which were spent with Publix Super Markets. He loved his work and enjoyed 20 years of retirement before his passing. He loved nothing more than spending time tending to his beautiful yard and was dedicated to his wellness program. He also enjoyed reading, and traveling and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Ruth Christine Foust and his two daughters and son-in-laws, Melinda and Greg Ramsdell and Cindy and David Craft. He is also survived by his two beloved grandchildren Samantha and Blaine Ramsdell.
