Robert "Bob" H Kuny passed away on February 24, 2019.  His final day was spent with his family at Cornerstone Hospice House in Tavares, Florida.  Bob was born April 15, 1929, in Ambridge, Pennsylvania to the late Stanley W and Vada Kuny.  He was a retired draftsman with the former American Bridge Co. in Ambridge.  Bob had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Bob and Ruth raised their family in Baden, Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in 1983.  For the past 8 years, he lived in Sorrento, Florida with his wife.   Prior to his illness, he was very active gardening and landscaping in his yard and loved to build puzzles and watch sports on TV.  Family vacations were always special for Bob including times at Myrtle Beach, SC, Outer Banks, NC, Lake Vermilion in Minnesota, and Destin Beach in Florida.

Bob is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruth I (McClintock) Kuny;  his brother Randy Kuny (Adrienne); his daughter Sherry Homayouni (Firooz); his daughter Kathy Passe (Pete); his daughter Robie Dayton; and his son Robert Kuny (Tami).  Bob and Ruth have 9 grand children and 9 great grand children with one on the way.

Friends will be received on Thursday, February 28 at 2PM and a service will be held at 3PM at Allen J Harden Funeral Home in Mt. Dora, Florida.
