Ruth H. Smith's Obituary
Ruth H. Smith, 98, passed away in Altoona, Fla., after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Alfred C "Dick" Walden Jr. and Clarence Lee Smith.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Alfred C. "Dick" Walden III.
She is survived by her children, Val Walden, Karl Walden, John Walden, Barbara S. North and Raymond "Bud" Smith; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services in Mount Dora, Fla., will be Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the funeral chapel of Allen J. Harden F.H., 1800 N. Donnelly St., Mount Dora, FL 32757.
A gathering of friends and family will take place after the service at the funeral home.
Graveside burial service will be held Friday, May 22, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Sunset Hill Cemetery, 1100 North Oak St., Valdosta, GA 31601.
