Sara Shirk Daniels of Mount Dora, Florida died on March 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Sally was born in Iowa, where her father ran the local drug store. After graduating from Grinnell College, Sally moved to Washington D.C. to work as a flight attendant for United Airlines. Sally continued to work for United for her entire career, but relocated to New York City in 1974, when she married John "Jack" Daniels. Jack and Sally retired to Mount Dora, Florida, in 1988, and he died in 2021. Sally is survived by her stepdaughter Dr. Deborah Carver, granddaughters Samantha and Caroline Carver, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sally will be long remembered for her affable nature, wonderful sense of humor, and radiant smile.
