Sarah Elizabeth Harris "Granny", 73 years of age, of Lake County went home to be with Our Lord on May 3, 2015. She was born in Thomasville, NC to Virgil and Lillian Voyles on May 30, 1941.

Sarah then moved to Lakeland, FL where she met her loving husband, Dalton Harris, and together they raised their beautiful daughter, Jennifer Clark. Sarah then moved to several different areas, Curry, Alabama, Gainesville, FL, Daytona Beach, FL, and Tavares, FL. She was employed in the Food Service Industry at Lakeland Regional Medical Center for over 20 years. Sarah was a Born Again Christian of the Southern Baptist Faith.

Sarah loved to walk on the beach and collect seashells. She loved to laugh, and make people laugh with her bold and no fluff comments about life. She never beat around the bush! She told you EXACTLY what was on her mind. She loved to shop at great lengths of time, but never bought anything for herself, she was always buying for others; she was selfless and always thinking of her family, friends, and anyone else that she met through her life journey. She was always there for everyone. Everyone loved Sarah deeply, and she will be deeply missed.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Clark, son-in-law, Joshua Clark, three grandsons, one great granddaughter, two great grandsons, and a brother, Franklin (Bunkie) Voyles. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Dalton Harris, brother, Farrell Voyles, and her parents, Virgil and Lillian Voyles.

Sarah's Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. located at Allen J Harden Funeral Home, 1800 North Donnelly Street, Mt. Dora, FL 32757, (352) 383-8178, officiating the ceremony will be Kyle Ivey.

Celebration of Life Reception will be immediately following the ceremony at the family home, please contact Jennifer or Joshua Clark for directions. Family requests that everyone bring a covered dish of your choice to celebrate Sarah Harris life memories.

At the family's request in lieu of flowers, plants to keep and grow the memory of our Loving Sarah Elizabeth Harris.

For the immediate family and friends, only a Prayer Vigil, Inurnment will take place on Monday, May 18, 2015 at Lakeland Memorial Gardens located at 2125 Bartow Road, Lakeland, Florida 33801.
