Rosier, Stanley Buford, age 85, passed away on Sunday April 8, 2018 after a lengthy illness. He was born on September 13, 1932 in Sanford, Florida. Stanley attended Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama and then graduated from Seminole High School in 1950. He then went on to attend the University of Florida and Florida Southern. Stanley was the owner of A.D. Rosier Wholesale Plumbing and Heating Supplies, Inc. which was founded in Sanford in 1932 by his parents. He opened a branch in Lake County in 1953 and moved it to its present location in Mount Dora in 1957. He was a member of the Eustis Chapter of the Florida Elks Club and was a longtime member of the National Water Well Association. Stanley enjoyed selling pumps, spending time at his different homes over the years in Daytona Beach, Florida, loved traveling the world, and piloting his own plane. He loved all animals but especially his cats.

A frequent attendee of the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia, it gives the family great comfort that he passed away on Masters Sunday. He was quite a character to all that knew him and will be greatly missed.

Stanley is predeceased in death by his parents A.D. and Vida Hodges Rosier, his sister Carolyn Rosier Hall, and his grandson Hunter William Rosier. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Sandra Swoope Rosier, son Stanley C. Rosier,(Pam), daughter Sherron Rosier Timmers(Werner) all of Mount Dora. Granddaughters Erin Williams of Mount Dora, Harmoni Brooks(Ron) of Macclenny, Florida, Hayli Westhelle(Chris) of Sanford, Florida, and grandson Gregory Williams of Gainesville, Florida. He had three Great-granddaughters and one Great-grandson. The family will receive friends on Thursday April 12, 2018 from 6-7:30PM at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home located at 1800 North Donnelly Street in Mount Dora, Florida.
