STEPHEN RODNEY ADAMS

Stephen R. Adams passed away on Thursday, May 16th, 2024. He was born on February 7th, 1952, in Rockland, Maine, to Rodney H. and Marjorie Flagg Adams. Steve and and his family moved to Sanford, Florida, in 1955. They later moved to Altamonte Springs.

After his graduation in 1970, from Lyman High School in Longwood, Florida, he attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to earn his Master's in Zoology. Steve worked many years as an environmental consultant. First owning his own company, LPG Environmental, and also worked with Kleinfelder and SWCA.

Steve made his home in Lake County for many years.  He was a member of Liberty Church in Tavares, Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rodney and Marjorie Adams, and his wife, of forty years, Barbara Antoinette Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Morene Adams, his daughter, Jami Gaines, grand-daughter, Brittany Gaines, his sister, Sharon Suver (John) and his nephew, Michael Suver.
