Steven D. Bolt, 77, of Mount Dora, FL, passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2025. Steve was born on June 30th, 1948, in Pacific Grove, CA. He moved to Mt. Dora with his family in 1961 and graduated from Mt. Dora High School in 1966. He attended Auburn University's Naval ROTC
program and went on to serve in the Vietnam War. Following his Naval service, Steve returned to Mt. Dora where he met his wife, through their work at the First National Bank of Mt. Dora. They married in 1983 and raised their two sons, Michael and David. Steve's passions were rooted in family, faith, and service to others. He was unrelenting in devoting his time to several local congregations and programs throughout his life.

Steve is survived by his sons, Michael (Emily) and David (Mindy); grandchildren, John David, Lila, Cora, and Brynn; brother, William and sister, Jackie (Bill) Chesnutt. He is preceded in death by his wife, Amy; parents, Lila, Florence (step-mother), Ann (step-mother) and William "Pete" Bolt.

A private remembrance will be held by the family. In Steve's memory, friends and loved ones are invited to make a donation to a charity of their choosing.
