Susan Hodge of Sorrento, FL, born on December 28, 1956, in Independence, Iowa, gained her wings on September 30, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, John Knoll Sr.; her mother, Wilma Knoll; her brothers, William and Charlie Knoll; her sister, Sandy Lively; and her nephew, Michael Knoll.

Susan is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Kevin Hodge; her loving children, Nicole Hodge, Blake Hodge, and Natalie Bailey; and her cherished grandchildren, Delanney Goodson, Theodore Hodge, Charlotte Hodge, Everette Bailey, and Everellie Bailey. She is also survived by her brother, John Knoll, and her brother and sister-in-law, David and Karen Hodge, along with her brother-in-law Don Hodge, and her nieces and nephew, Jennifer Towns, Jessica Knoll, and Austin Lively. Additionally, she leaves behind her beloved German Shepherd, Jake.

A dedicated employee as a computer analyst for the past 19 years, Susan was a devoted wife, mother, and "Grammy." She lived life to the fullest, always prioritizing time spent with family and friends. Her favorite pastime was being next to the ocean, where she found peace and joy. Susan had a special love for butterflies and the color purple, which reflected her vibrant spirit.

Susan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit and kindness will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
