Terry Lee Allen, 65, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, his sister, Karen M. Hayes, by his side.

Terry was born August 19, 1960, in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, the son of the late Gordon and Doris Allen (nee Powers).

Uncle T, a title he wore proudly, had a wide-eyed appreciation of life's simpler things; Friday fish fries, puzzles, board and card games, playing his keyboard, watching the horses run, and a never-ending search for a local casino on every road trip.

Above all else, he loved Family and the Holidays which brought the Family together. His layered-Jello was expected and a legacy to any meal. The annual quest for the most elaborate Christmas light display seemed more "cool" with Terry in the car.

Terry had 16-year career with Sears in Grand Rapids, Michigan, before moving to Chagrin Falls, Ohio, to be closer to family, and finished his working life at Walmart.

He is survived by Uncle Marvin (Connie) Powers; brothers, Dennis (Sandy) Allen and Jerry (Diana) Allen; sister, Karen (Kevin) Hayes, his stepfamily: Jean Allen, Gordon Allen, Jr., along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Uncles Ivan (Connie) Powers, Phil (Betty Jo) Powers, Don (Barb) Powers, Aunt Betty Powers, and Uncles Howard, Roy, Melvin, and Ellery Allen.

Terry left this world too early after a six-month battle with cancer. It was a better place with him in it, and we're better off having known him.

He will be missed.
