On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, Terry Lynn Laird (54) passed away. She retired to Mount Dora, Florida along with her mother in 2015.

Terry was born on March 7, 1968 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. For most of her life she resided in Ottsville, Pennsylvania. Terry attended Palisades High School. In October 1992, Terry wed Doug Laird and they went on to have two children; Lauren and Kyle, where they then resided in Hellertown, Pennsylvania.

Terry was passionate about her horses and horseback riding. Terry developed her love of riding from her Aunt Cyndi. When Terry wasn't at the barn mucking horse shit, she was busy taking care of her family and household. Her love of cooking came from her mother and she was amazing at it. She spent many hours watching and supporting her children in all their activities from riding horses, to cheer, football and ATV racing.

Terry was predeceased by her mother Marie T. Somp, father Walt A. Somp, Jr., brother David Somp, Sr., and her beautiful horse and soulmate, Roman Sun Twist. Terry is survived by her daughter Lauren Rios (Michael), son Kyle Laird, granddaughter Ellie Rios, sister Dawn Snyder (Steve), ex-husband Doug Laird and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a small, intimate service for close family and friends with information to follow, as that was Terry's request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her children to offset end of life expenses. Donations can be mailed to Lauren Rios at 1350 Doylestown Pike, Quakertown, PA 18951.
