Theresa C. Galarneau, age 65, passed peacefully Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares. From her birth in Brooklyn, New York on September 1, 1951 to her death on Sunday, she nourished people around her with love and warmth. Her parents were raised in Italy were they were to eventually move to the United States. Theresa was the second of four children. It was Theresa's love for life and adventure that attracted Roy D. Galarneau to her in 1987. Theresa and Roy were married on October 31, 1994 in Tavares at the Lake County Courthouse. Left to honor Theresa and remember her love are Theresa's husband, Roy D. Galarneau, of Mount Dora, Florida, her four children, Timothy P. King, of Eustis, Florida, Richard L. King, of Panama City, Florida, Jackie L. King, of Mount Dora, Florida, and Tracy B.L. King, of Mount Dora, Florida and six grandchildren. Theresa was preceded in death by her father, Jack Carvello and her brother, Carlo Carvello. Theresa will be remembered as a bright, shining light in the lives of her children and grandchildren, who loved her dearly. Viewing for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 10:00 to 12:00 pm at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora, Florida with funeral services to follow at 12:00 pm.
