IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas Luke
Clouse
March 25, 1952 – March 22, 2025
Thomas Luke Clouse passed away on March 22, 2025, in Zellwood, FL, at the age of 72.
Tom was born in Bowling Green, OH, on March 25, 1952. He served in the Air Force for 8 years as an F4 mechanic. After leaving the military, he went on to receive his bachelor's and medical degrees at the University of New Mexico. He completed his surgical residency in Pontiac, MI, before starting his private practice.
After he retired from his medical career, he specialized in helping people with neurological movement issues. This passion led to his traveling across the United States, as well as, to several other countries, including South Korea, Australia, South Africa, Israel, England and Malaysia. His time working with these individuals, along with his medical background and own personal experiences, led him to write his book, Reclaiming Natural Movement, to assist those he couldn't reach personally.
In his free time, Tom enjoyed golfing with his friends, flying his light sport aircraft, and riding his recumbent trike. He will be remembered for his love of family, his advocacy for those suffering from ataxia, and his smart wit.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Rosemary, and his brothers, Lawrence and Gerald. He is survived by his three children, Michael (Andrea), Catherine, and Marianne (Blaze); his seven grandchildren, Autumn, Andrew, Lucas, Gabriel, Benjamin, Seth, and Asher; and his three great-grandchildren, Cohen, Sawyer, and Lillian. Tom also leaves behind his five siblings, David, Nancy, Ronald, Joseph, and Betty.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Tom's honor to the National Ataxia Foundation.
Arrangements are under the careful care of Allen J. Harden Funeral Home.
