Timothy Chastain , age 67, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 in Altamonte Springs, Florida.  Tim was born in Decatur, Alabama, the eldest son of Robert and Movaline Chastain.  He moved to Florida with his parents in 1955.  Tim graduated from Lee College in Cleveland, Tennessee with a BA in Religion and Church History.  He worked in the Christian bookstore industry for 20 years.  Tim loved reading, writing, and discussion.  He was an Advanced Toastmaster and co-founder of Central Florida Facilitators Toastmaster Club #9958 in Altamonte Springs.  He was also the creator/writer of the blog, Jesus Without Baggage .  Tim was a scholarly man, with strong character, deep compassion, and a wonderful sense of humor.  He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; son, Drew; his siblings, Valorie, Terry, and Tracy; and his mother, Movaline.  He was predeceased by his father, Robert, and his sister, Cheryl.  Tim will be deeply missed by his family and friends but will be remembered through his writings and in the hearts and minds of those who loved him.
