Timothy John Travers, 46, passed away in Mount Dora, Florida, June 26, 2025.

Though Tim was born in Peoria, Illinois, he was in every other respect a Florida boy.  After high school graduation, he married, then joined the US Air Force.  Tim served the Air Force for 4 years as a firefighter.  Upon separation, he planted roots in Mount Dora, Florida, where his 3 children were raised.  He attained a bachelor's degree in Fire Science.  He served Lake County for 16 years as a Firefighter/Paramedic.

Tim loved diving and lobstering with his family.   He loved being a father and cooking for family and guests.  He frequently assisted family members, neighbors, and friends with medical concerns.  His memory for family events was legendary.

Tim is preceded in death by his sister Brianne Marie Travers and niece Alexi Ryann Stafford. He is survived by his parents John and Barbara Travers, his brother Dan (Melissa) Travers, sister Kellie Travers-Stafford (Michael), and children Brian, Layla, and Falyn Travers.
