Vinnie Marie Boyd (Shepherd-Conrod), 91, of Alva, FL passed away peacefully on April 2, 2016. Vinnie was born to Hugh M. Shepherd and Ethel M. (Heisler) Shepherd in Fort Denaud FL, on July 19, 1924. She was one of eight children and lived most her life in the Alva, North Fort Myers area. She is predeceased by her husband Tom Conrod; second husband Dewey Boyd Jr; and daughter Janis Wagner. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Martin; Stepdaughter Carol Dalton; and two of her brothers Winston Shepherd and Hugh Shepherd Jr. along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and other loving extended family. There will be a graveside service held at one o'clock in the afternoon on April 8, 2016 at Alva Cemetery - Cemetery Rd, Alva, FL 33920. She is very loved and will live on in the memories of everyone blessed to know her.
