Virginia Olivani, 66, of Mount Dora, FL, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, FL. She was born on August 23, 1947 in Boscoreale Napoli, Italy to Antonio and Assunta (Langella) Cesarano. Virginia immigrated to the United States in 1957 and grew up in Batavia, NY. After graduating from Batavia High School in 1967, she began a career in the food service industry spanning 40 years. Virginia worked as a chef, a caterer and a manager. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Assunta (Langella) Cesarano; her sisters Maddalena Izzo, Carmela Parisi, Giuseppina Langella, Raffaela Biganini; her brother Giovanni Cesarano; and her son Michael Olivani. Virginia is survived by her husband of 44 years, John Olivani of Mount Dora, FL; her son David (Debbie) Olivani of Mesa, AZ; her daughter Danielle Olivani of Mount Dora, FL; her brother Giuseppe Cesarano of Boscoreale Napoli, Italy; her brother Gennaro (Gudrum) Cesarano of Rocky Point, Long Island; her brother Nicola (Maria) Cesarano of Ridgewood, Queens; her sister Anna Maria (Mario) Gallo of Corona, CA; her sister Beatrice (Joseph) Carrillo of Mount Dora, FL; her grandchildren Sara Olivani, Emily Olivani, Mary Olivani and Gia Olivani; nieces, nephews and other relatives. A devoted wife and mother; she lived for her family and friends, and was at her happiest when spending time with them. Virginia's interests included traveling, cooking and sharing a homed cooked meal with those she loved. "She blessed this world, She loved so much, How many hearts, One life can touch." A memorial service will be held at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home, 1800 North Donnelly Street, Mount Dora, Florida at 10:00 a.m., Saturday January 4, 2014.
