Obituary

William Raymond Clarida, 83, of Mount Dora, Florida was born in Johnston City Illinois. Predeceased by parents, Jack and Wilma Clarida; wife, Edith Ann Clarida.
Mr. Clarida is survived by wife, Carolynn Lee Clarida, sons, Richard Clarida (Polly), Robert Clarida (Annie), Step-son, Edward Payne (Laura), Step-daughters, Cheryl Norman (Duane), and Laurel Jackson (Milton), Grandchildren, Russell and Matthew Clarida, Paul and Helen Clarida, Step-grandchildren, Ellyce and Corynne Payne, Evan and Andrew Norman, Jonathan and Luke Jackson.
Mr. Clarida, formerly of Herrin, Illinois was an accomplished musician spending 34 years as Band Director, Teacher and Superintendent of Schools in Herrin, Illinois School District. He spent many years playing saxophone with the Orlando Concert Band and the Lake Saxophone Quartet. But, most of all he was a caring generous soul who will be missed greatly by his friends, family and students.
