William F. Gray Jr., 58, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 in Mount Dora, Florida. He is survived by Candice Gray, William David Gray, and Meggie Lynn Gray of Allentown, PA. He is also survived by his parents, William F. and Dorothy V. Gray of Mount Dora, FL, his sister Debbie Nickels of Fair Haven, NJ and his sister Karen Gray of Blacksburg, VA. Bill was blessed with many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins, in particular his godparents: Angela Anthony of West Long Branch, NJ, and Richard ?Bubby? Acerra of Jackson, NJ.

Bill graduated from Ocean Township High School, NJ in 1973 and Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA in 1977. He played varsity soccer for both schools. His work life included retail sales as well as teaching in the Lake County, Florida school system.

An avid NY sports fan, he was thrilled to see his Yankees win their opening game this year.

Bill was at his best when he was with children: as a dad, uncle, coach or teacher. He was also a lover of the Jersey Shore. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite children?s charity or to Hurricane Sandy relief would be welcome.
