William G. (Bill) Kemmitt died May 30, 2015 after a brief illness. He was born May 28, 1945 to William H. and Edna (Foster) Kemmitt in Monmouth, Illinois. He retired from the United States Army in 1989.

Bill is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Patricia Buxkemper, daughters Donna Dew (Jim) and Paige Kowalski (Jason), stepdaughters Kelly Dennis and Eryn McCulloch (Tom), and grandchildren Kaitlyn Snook (Kalen), and Caden and Gavin Kowalski. Other survivors include his brother Larry (Leigh), sisters Sandy Helle (Jim) and Judy Budnick (Darwin) and their children. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and brother Steve.
